As-Salamu Alaikum Al-Iman School Student,
On behalf of the entire middle school and Arabic/ Islamic Studies staff, we extend to you a warm welcome to Al-Iman School academic year 2010 – 2011. In sha Allah, your summer break was joyful and pleasant. We are looking forward to your return as we prepare for a new journey into the wonderful world of learning and teaching.
As Salamu Alaikum Dear Al-Iman School Parents,
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that I, Musa Ramsey will be taking on the responsibility of teaching Islamic studies at Al-Iman School academic year 2010 - 2011. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a few of my thoughts concerning Islamic Studies and give you a small idea about myself.
Firstly, I consider it a great privilege and trust (amaanat) to teach Islamic Studies this year. I am looking forward to working with the students of Al-Iman School in order to increase our knowledge and discover the many wonderful things that Islam has to offer. I will work hard to develop the concepts of righteousness, submission and obedience to Allah in the heart of each and every student that sits in my class. My goal is to ensure that every Muslim child grows up having (1) a strong understanding of who Allah is (Ma’rifatullah) (2) a sound identity of being a Muslim (3) a firm academic and Islamic education which will enable them to be tomorrow’s society leaders. I believe we can do it if we put our trust in Allah and strive to work together for change.
As a teacher at Al-Iman School I request you join me as a partner in this cause to bring about the desired results.
