In Fourth and Seventh grade Arabic L 2, we have been decoraing for Ramadan, learning Ramadan vocabs reviewing intensively, colors, numbers, seasons, family members and days of the week. This all will be used in our essays of Eid celebrations.
For this week we will read aloud in 7th grade our own reflections of Ramadan, learn manners of Eid Greetings and create an art project impelemnting in it some information on Eid in other Muslim countries around the world.
In 4th grade L2, we will work intensively with worksheets about the fasting an Eid celebration theme. we will have spelling quiz on Friday and the words will be posted on Monday. we will make Eid cards and learn Eid vocabs and Eid manners of greetings.
In 5th and 7th-8th L1, we have reviewed numbers, colors, family members and days of the week.
We will use simple words and phrases to engage in dialogue about likes and wishes for Eid holiday and learn and use vocabs of Eid greetings in their Eid Cards.
All classes have to engage in dialogue and write either in phrases or paragraph ,depending on their strength level, about what their parents prepare for Eid ,and about what activities to enjoy during Eid.
The last Ten days of Ramadan and the significance and high rewards of Ibadat in these days will be emphasized in all my classes.
Students are given the list of words of spelling quiz on Monday.
Together we are strong, so let's work together to help our students be the best that they can be.
Have a wonderful Eid Holiday.
Sincerely,
Yesra Alsous
